SERVICE CHANGES FOR JULY 4, 2017
Because of road closures and related traffic issues, only limited Island Explorer service will operate during Independence Day celebrations.

Due to the Bar Harbor parade, most routes will not run in the morning on July 4, 2017. There will be limited morning service on the Oceanarium, Trenton, and Eden Street routes, plus one special inbound trip on the Southwest Harbor route.
Because of the fireworks, evening service will be limited to special trips from campgrounds located on the Oceanarium and Trenton routes and from Blackwoods Campground. The evening of July 4, buses from Oceanarium and Trenton route campgrounds will serve the Emerson-Conners School instead of the Bar Harbor Village Green. Evening Blackwoods buses will start and end at the ballfield.
