FLY TO BAR HARBOR

Cape Air offers flights from Boston's Logan International Airport to the Bar Harbor-Hancock County Airport. Free Island Explorer buses offer seven trips a day between the airport and the Bar Harbor Village Green. The last bus departs the airport at 4:22 p.m. Rental cars and taxis are available at the airport.

Proceed to Logan Airport, Terminal C.
Cape Air flights depart from Terinal C. If you arrive at another terminal, ride to Terminal C on the MassPort Shuttle. This free service operates approximately every five minutes. A clear automated announcement will notify you when you are approaching Terminal C.

Fly to Bar Harbor.
Flying time is typically about 50 minutes.

Ride the free Island Explorer shuttle to Bar Harbor.
Board a Bar Harbor-bound Trenton bus, Route #9, at the bus stop near the airport front entrance. At the Bar Harbor Village Green, you can transfer to other Island Explorer routes to reach campgrounds, hotels, and neighboring towns. Many lodging establishments are located within walking distance of the Village Green.

Luggage Tip: Arrive in the p.m., depart in the a.m.
Island Explorer buses do not have luggage compartments. Buses to Bar Harbor in the morning can be quite crowded. Try to arrive in the afternoon when there will be extra room for your bags. For your departure, buses traveling toward the airport are often full in the late afternoon. The best time to leave with luggage is in the morning.
