BUS FROM BOSTON

Ride Concord Coach to Bangor.
Concord Coach departs daily from South Station. The bus terminal is located above the railroad tracks, about a 10-minute walk from the train station. The MBTA Red Line subway stops at South Station.

These buses also pick up and drop off at Logan International Airport.

Travel from Bangor to Bar Harbor.
Downeast Transportation departs the Bangor bus terminal for Bar Harbor year-round Monday through Friday at 1:50 p.m. This bus does not operate on weekends or on Monday holidays.

You can also try the Bar Harbor Shuttle. This is a private company that provides van service between Bangor transportation terminals and Bar Harbor.

Taxis are available at the bus terminal and rental cars are available at the nearby Bangor Airport.
